Owners the Hall family hail from Texas, but are big players in the Napa with 725 acres of vines under organic farming. Based in Rutherford for receptions however they have another winery to visit in St Helena. As well the brands reach out for grapes from the Alexander Valley and Mount Veeder. Hall is a big grower of red grapes though the one spearhead white is Sauvignon Blanc 2009, unoaked but texturally made to enjoy. The Napa Collection includes sauvignon, Merlot 06, Cabernet 06 and Kathryn Hall Cabernet 06. The Artisan Collection includes single vineyard cabernets. They are Bergfield St Helena 06, Diamond Mountain District 07, T Bar T Ranch 06 from Alexander Valley, Jacks Masterpiece 07, Segassia Mount Veeder 06 and Exzellenz Sacrashe Vineyard Rutherford 06.
