Home Care Assistance caregivers follow the company’s Balanced Care Method, which is designed to promote healthy activity, stress reduction and social interaction for seniors. Franchises offer both hourly and live-in nonmedical care services.

We Can Help with Balanced Care

The Balanced Care Method™, exclusive to Home Care Assistance, is based on the scientifically studied lifestyle choices of the longest and healthiest living population on earth: the seniors of the Okinawa region of Japan. Life spans of over 100 years are not unusual in Okinawa. More important, people in their 70s, 80s and beyond enjoy incredible good health and independence. Excellent physical health, mental awareness, and inner calm are common among the studied seniors. The Balanced Care Method™seeks to capture some of the lifestyle factors that go toward creating such long-lived and healthy people. Its philosophy can be summed up in two words: moderation and variety. Components of this method include: Healthy Diet, Physical Activity, Social Ties and Family, Calmness and Purpose, Sharp Minds, and Spirituality. By working with specific lifestyle behaviors, Home Care Assistance caregivers extend and enhance the lives of the elderly, helping them live longer, happier, more balanced lives. More information on Balanced Care
