Our History

The first Pizza Factory opened its doors in 1985 in Oakhurst, California (near the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park). Because of Pizza Factory’s reputation for quality pizzas, simplicity of concept and median cost of operation, several more Pizza Factories were added, and the business was franchised in 1985.

Today there are over 110 restaurants in five western states. Pizza Factory opportunities are available in both small towns and metropolitan communities. We’re excited about our growth and thankful for our franchisees and customers who have helped make our franchise a success.
