Smart Switch只能通过蓝牙连接，不可通过Wi-Fi连接，所以你想在上班的时候启动咖啡机，等下班回家就可以享用一杯热牛奶咖啡，那是不大实际的，除非你就在隔壁上班。对于一个人居住的单身人士来说，Smart Switch非常不错。可惜的是，Nyrius并没有考虑到多用户的家庭，所以如果你启动了咖啡机，你必须要把它关掉。

Smart Switch可以接入凡是你能想到的任何电器，包括电灯、电视、音响。要记住一件事：你把电器接入Smart Switch后，如果你通过Smart Switch关闭电源，所连接的电器就断电了。如果你把某个电器进行定时了，比如微波炉，Smart Switch会发出提醒通知。
