NetEase Music is a music and video streaming service developed and operated by NetEase, Inc. The service was officially launched on 23 April 2013.
As of April 2017, the platform has 300 million users, and a music database consisting of more than 10 million legal copies of high quality music. Users are able to download music, comment on music, create playlists and follow artists. In April 2017 it received its series A financing of 750 million CNY (107 million USD), and was valued at eight billion CNY (1.14 billion USD), making it a Unicorn Company.
