A word from Eleven Madison Park

For both lunch and dinner, Eleven Madison Park offers a Tasting Menu for $195.

Eleven Madison Park is located in a landmark art deco building with soaring 35-foot ceilings and a view of Madison Square Park. We offer an intimate bar featuring 35 wines by the glass as well as seasonal classic and proprietary cocktails. The second floor private dining rooms also feature views of Madison Square Park.

Eleven Madison Park is a New French restaurant located at 11 Madison Avenue (at East 24th Street) in the Flatiron District in New York City.[2] It ranked #5 in the S.Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2013.[4] Its Chef/Owner is Daniel Humm, from Switzerland. He was awarded with the James Beard Award for Outstanding Chef. It does not have an à la carte menu but rather a card printed with a grid of 16 ingredients from which the staff design a meal,[5] taking into account any ingredient dislikes.[6] A few dishes display techniques of molecular gastronomy.

Menu[edit source]

Their menu format is intended to offer an experience in which the guests can enjoy the inherent surprise of a tasting menu, while still maintaining some control. The dishes are listed solely by their principal ingredients, and guests are invited to make their selections, share any thoughts or preferences, including any ingredient dislikes, and allow the chefs to design their meal from there.

Awards[edit source]

In 2013, Zagats gave it ratings of 28 in food, 28 in decor, and 28 in service, and it was the top-ranked restaurant for food in the Flatiron District and ranked the fifth-best restaurant in New York City.[2][10]
