Tishman paid $37 million in cash for the land and $4 million for architectural drawings As per Bloomberg, Foundry Square’s original developer, Wilson Meany Sullivan, sold the last undeveloped bit of the low-rise complex at Howard & First Streets to Tishman Speyer, which will finance the project with a J.P. Morgan private equity fund. Presumably using the same Jim Jennings design, and with construction expected to begin very soon, this is the first new office space start since 2006 as the race for Class A office space heats up. The last offices built here- also by Tishman- was 555 Mission Street. [Bloomberg]
