About

The Hong Kong Students Association (HKSA) at Johns Hopkins was established in 1994 by a group of students from Hong Kong. Since its beginning, HKSA has created a warm and welcoming community for Hong Kong students. In each school year, the club actively organizes events that promote the culture of Hong Kong among the university. These events, which include Dim-Sum Trips, Karaoke Night, Movie Night, and other joint-club activities, aim to enrich the Hong Kong community and tighten its culture with that of America.

During the winter vacation, officers of HKSA return to Hong Kong to meet with prospective students through an information session. In summer, the club arranges various welcoming, ‘get-to-know-each-other’ events for students who will be attending Hopkins. The club does its best to ensure each new student transitions smoothly into the Hopkins community.
