ABOUT HKSA

The Cornell Hong Kong Student Association was first established in 1970. The expanding presence of the Hong Kong student body and the dire need for a unified representation were the main reasons for the formation of this organization. Ever since then, the Hong Kong Student Association has become a cultural and social organization that strives to bring a greater awareness of Hong Kong’s culture, landscape, and beliefs to the Cornell community.

We are a trustworthy and responsible organization that relays whatever resources are necessary to help international and freshman students where assistance is needed, and lastly, we are a respected organization that embodies the spirit and voice of Hong Kong. Through the many successful events we organize, such as our annual cultural show, karaoke nights, and Hong Kong night, the HKSA has become an omnipresent force at the Cornell community.

As of today, Cornell HKSA is four hundred members strong, supported by nine exco-board members and a reliable alumni base. However, it is without doubt that the future success of this organization depends largely on your support. The HKSA Excoboard greatly appreciates your presence here today, and wishes for your futures participation in the many events and activities that are to come.
