梅奥诊所医学中心（英语：Mayo Clinic），又译为梅奥诊所、梅约诊所、马约诊所，于1863年在美国创立，是世界最著名的医疗机构之一，位于美国明尼苏达州罗彻斯特（Rochester）。它还有医院设在佛罗里达州的杰克逊维尔（Jacksonville）及亚利桑那州的斯科茨代尔（Scottsdale）。在明尼苏达州、爱荷华州、威斯康辛州还有一些小的诊所和医院。2014年7月15日，《美国新闻与世界报道》（U.S. News & World Report）最新发布了2014年~15年美国最佳医院排行榜。排名显示，位于罗彻斯特的梅奥诊所首次荣登榜首。

William Worrall Mayo settled his family in Rochester in 1864 and opened a sole proprietorship medical practice that evolved under his sons, Will and Charlie Mayo, along with practice partners Drs. Stinchfield, Graham, Henry Plummer, Millet, Judd, and Balfour into Mayo Clinic. Today, in addition to its flagship hospital in Rochester, Mayo Clinic has major campuses in Arizonaand Florida.The Mayo Clinic Health System also operates affiliated facilities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.

Mayo Clinic is ranked number 1 in the United States on the 2018–2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals Honor Roll, maintaining a position at or near the top for more than 27 years. It has been on the list of “100 Best Companies to Work For” published by Fortune magazine for fourteen consecutive years, and has continued to achieve this ranking through 2017.

The Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) is the teaching hospital and biomedical research facility of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, located in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. It was founded in 1889 using money from a bequest of over $7 million (1873 money, worth 134.7 million dollars in 2016) by city merchant, banker/financier, civic leader and philanthropist Johns Hopkins (1795-1873). Johns Hopkins Hospital and its school of medicine are considered to be the founding institutions of modern American medicine and the birthplace of numerous famous medical traditions including rounds, residents and house staff. Many medical specialties were formed at the hospital including neurosurgery, by Dr. Harvey Cushing; cardiac surgery by Dr. Alfred Blalock; and child psychiatry, by Dr. Leo Kanner.

Johns Hopkins Hospital is widely regarded as one of the world’s greatest hospitals and medical institutions.[9] It was ranked by U.S. News & World Report news magazine as the best overall hospital in America for 21 consecutive years (1991–2011). In 2017-2018, the hospital ranked in 15 adult and 10 children’s specialties, coming in 1st in Maryland and 3rd nationally behind the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

3.麻省总医院 (Massachusetts General Hospital）

麻省总医院（英文：Massachusetts General Hospital；缩写：Mass General或MGH）为一所坐落于波士顿的综合型医院。其为美国新英格兰地区最古老且最具规模的医院，并是哈佛大学最大型的医学教学中心及生物医学研究基地。院方目前提供不同类型的医疗服务，亦具非常浓厚的研究气氛。麻院同时获得多个机构的好评。

历史

麻省总医院于1811年由当时著名的美国建筑师查尔斯·布尔芬奇设计，迄今是全美历史第三悠久的综合性医院。哈佛医学院解剖及外科手术教授约翰·沃伦一叩洪钟，将医学院迁移至波士顿，而其从爱丁堡大学医学院毕业的儿子约翰·柯林斯·沃伦，与詹姆斯·杰克逊则一起带领兴建最初于1810年、由波士顿救济院牧师约翰·巴特利特起草成立的麻省总医院。由于当时很多富有人家均雇用医护人员在家中接受照料，故麻省总医院跟其他大多数在19世纪建立的医院一样，旨在照顾穷人。19世纪中至下半叶，哈佛医学院与总医院相邻。

4.克利夫兰医学中心

The Cleveland Clinic is an American academic medical center based in Cleveland, Ohio. Owned and operated by the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, an Ohio nonprofit corporation established in 1921, it runs a 170-acre campus in Cleveland, as well as 10 regional hospitals and 19 family health centers in north-east Ohio, and hospitals in Florida and Nevada. Tomislav Mihaljevic is the president and CEO.

Outside the United States, Cleveland Clinic also operates the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi hospital and a sports medicine clinic in Toronto. A Cleveland Clinic hospital campus in London is scheduled to open in 2021.

Cleveland Clinic is consistently ranked as one of the best hospitals in the United States. In 2018-2019, the U.S. News & World Report ranked Cleveland Clinic as the number 2 hospital in the Best Hospitals Honor Roll, as it was nationally ranked in 14 adult and 10 pediatric specialties. Cleveland Clinic’s cardiology program has ranked No. 1 in the nation since 1995.

Cleveland Clinic’s operating revenue in 2017 was $8.4 billion and its operating income $330 million.That year it recorded 7.6 million patient visits and 229,132 admissions. As of 2018, it has over 52,000 employees, a figure that includ es over 11,800 nurses and over 3,600 physicians and scientists. It is affiliated with the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, with which it started a physician-investigator medical school training program: the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. The Cleveland Clinic also publishes the peer-reviewed journal Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine.  In 2008, Cleveland Clinic became the first healthcare provider in the United States to become a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact and the second in the world.

宾夕法尼亚大学医院（HospitaloftheUniversityofPennsylvania）是具有782张床铺的全科医疗和手术医院，据报道近年来的住院人次是37849人。该院每年实施14631例住院手术和10183例门诊手术。急诊量是60968人次。宾夕法尼亚大学医院是一所教学医院，得到了康复医疗机构质量认证委员会(CARF)的认可。
