If you have lived most of your life in the tropics and haven’t been overseas before, then chances are you have never seen snow in person! I was born in Singapore and lived here my whole life, so it was only when I was in 24 and vacationing in Chengdu (in China)  that I saw snow for the first time. And it was truly a surreal and majestic moment to see these little white balls floating down from the sky. :D

But before you fly to the nearest winter wonderland, make sure you have appropriate clothing. Winter happens between December and February in the northern hemisphere and between June and August in the southern hemisphere. For some temperate countries, snow does not happen every year, so check the local weather forecasts and plan your trip accordingly.

There is no harm in giving these books a chance. It will offer you a better understanding of people and things that surround you. And it will open up a new uncharted world that you can explore.

Nowadays kite flying a fun activity that is done on windy days. Kites come in different shapes and colors. Designs range from the very simple to the very elaborate. If you have not made a kite before, you should start with the diamond shape. Get creative and use different colors for your kite! Kite kits are also available in some art and creative shops.

Sleeping outdoors is a great way to get close to nature. It is also very relaxing especially with a soft breeze. It is best done during an afternoon stay at the park or when resting mid-hike. Here are some things to remember before doing this:

  • Bring a pillow or use your bag as a headrest.
  • Make sure that there are no insects nearby that may bite you
  • Bring a mosquito repellent and sunscreen

Customer service jobs can be stressful. Calls queuing, the occasional irate customers on the other line that demands their money back or wish to speak to a supervisor, and the pressure of hitting the targets; these are just some of the things a customer service representative have on their plates on a daily basis. They too get exhausted and uninspired in the long run. Wouldn’t it be nice to make someone feel appreciated for the job they did? Picking up the phone to give a simple thank you to your customer service representative can go a long way.
