Roosevelt once said, “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.” We all have fears. Fear of heights and spiders are among them. In most cases, the fears that we have are unreasonable. Some may be triggered by a traumatic event in the past. Our fears prevent us from living life to the fullest. The good news is, fears can be overcome. If you fear something, you can use logic or think about the things that you are missing out. You can also seek professional help to conquer your fears.

76. Start a social movement on a cause you believe in

To quote author Chuck Palahniuk: “We’re the middle children of history…. no purpose or place. We have no Great War, no Great Depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives.” We are in a time where all out battles are fought in silence. We never really voice out our concerns and just take to ourselves. In order to make changes, we have to make our voices heard. Just because we are taking it out in the open does not mean it should be chaotic. You can meet new people that believe in the same cause. Writing petitions and generally creating a community of people fighting for the same cause can be beneficial in a good way.
