It’s a mixed-use village of shops, apartments, offices and plazas, The development will eventually have 1.8 million square feet of offices, and 165,000 square feet of retail. That includes more than 600,000 square feet of offices now under construction, 125,000 square feet of specialty retail now being built, and the 40,000 square feet of retail in a Main Street style that will be one of the focal points of the village. The Centennial Gateway project would create 780,000 square feet of retail, hotel, and restaurant and office development on 8.4 acres near Levi’s Stadium. And City Place Santa Clara would create 5.2 million square feet of retail, restaurant, hotel, office and residential development in four phases on 215 acres.
Transaction History
_November 2015, Irvine Co bought 427,500 square-foot office/R&D campus on Freedom Circle from Seller Legacy Partners for $320 per square foot, or $136.8 million.
_In May, 2013, Legacy Partners and its partner, Alliance Bernstein bought what was then called Marriott Business Park for about $251 per square foot, or $107.35 million.
