Kilroy Realty’s Hooper Complex Nears Completion


Kilroy Realty’s Hooper Complex has topped off. The mixed-use office and industrial complex designed by Forge and Pfau Long Architecture consists of two four-story buildings at 100 Hooper with 311K SF of office fully leased to Adobe. The ground floor provides 86K SF of light industrial space for innovators, inventors and crafts people.

The office space includ es design details that reflect traditional manufacturing, including exposed structures for open offices and steel bridges used as flexible spaces to interconnect floors and adjacent buildings. The building offers outdoor conference rooms and open collaboration spaces.

A third building, 150 Hooper, will serve as a manufacturing foundry with 49K SF of light industrial that will be operated by PlaceMade, a sister nonprofit to SFMade. PlaceMade is San Francisco’s first nonprofit industrial real estate developer and is focused on growing urban manufacturing jobs by creating more manufacturing real estate that is functional, accessible and affordable.

The 100 Hooper project is LEED Platinum-designed and being built adjacent to university and hospital campuses and is near public transportation. It is in between the Potrero Hill and Mission Bay neighborhoods.

Construction is expected to complete in early 2018. DPR Construction also is involved with this project.
