近日一款名为Bedjet的冷暖调节器在一定程度上解决了这个问题。它通过向被窝里鼓进冷气或暖气，来降低或者提高被窝的温度，从而达到控温的作用。

从外形行看，Bedjet的主体酷似一个鼓风机，它不仅能够加热也能够制冷。一根软管一头连着鼓风机，另一头连着一个扁平的喷嘴，喷嘴伸入到被窝内，能够有效的向被窝内疏通气流。用户通过手机APP或者无线遥控器将Bedjet设置到所需要的温度，按下开始开关后，Bedjet便开始工作。据开发者Mark Aramli介绍，Bedjet能在3至5分钟内将被窝的温度提高到30ºF，被窝也会在气流的带动下变得涨鼓起来。当到达设定温度后，Bedjet便会自动停止工作。

为了更好的调节温度，用户还可以利用手机APP或者遥控器来改变鼓风机的转动频率，或者设定工作时间，从而控制Bedjet的加热或制冷速度。

与电热毯相比，Bedjet最大的优势在于省电和安全。据了解，Bedjet工作一晚上所花费的电费不会超过4美分，在一定程度上也起到了环保的作用。不仅如此，由于Bedjet采用风力加热，避免了电热毯可能出现的电路老化漏电等安全隐患。

Bedjet的设计者Mark Aramli，之前是美国航空航天局(NASA)工程师，主要负责宇航服的设计和研发。十几年前，由于忍受不了北方冬天被窝里的寒冷，他将暖风机放到床上取暖，这不但没有发生火灾，还激发了他某处灵感：制作一款类似暖风机的暖床神器。不久前，母亲手术后需要卧床休养，由于电热毯无法快速加热和控制温度，他便将过去的想法付诸行动。经过8个月的开发，Bedjet问世。
