Signature Development Group is privately owned, locally managed and based in Oakland, California. For more than 20 years, our team has demonstrated our ability to work collaboratively to define a big vision, then work to enact positive change. We are advocates of sustainable development, specialists in entitlements and committed to innovation. We always consider how a site will be used and what impact a new development will have on the community at large. Aesthetics and long-term appeal are always top of mind. We are able to manage the entire entitlement, land development, and construction process.

The process of land development is complex, especially in the San Francisco Bay Area. Against this backdrop, we at SDG have demonstrated the ability to envision and enact change. Our portfolio includes some of the most challenging redevelopment sites in the region: former manufacturing sites, abandoned warehouses and outdated retail, often in sensitive locations.
