麻省理工學院中國學生學者聯合會

MIT Chinese Student and Scholar Association (MIT CSSA) is a non-profit organization officially registered at MIT. We have more than 1000 official members, mostly from China, including nearly 600 graduate students, around 100 undergraduate students, 150 post-docs and visiting scholars, and 150 MIT alumnus/affiliates. Our email list contains more than 5000 members in the greater Boston area. The main mission of our organization is to help build a closer MIT Chinese community, strengthen the connections between Chinese students and the whole MIT community, spread Chinese culture, serve the needs of our members and facilitate communication both within and outside the large Chinese community.

To achieve our mission, MIT CSSA regularly organizes social activities, such as parties, game night, outings and so on, conducts information seminars on a variety of topics, including insurance, job-hunting, career development, and promotes Chinese culture with big event “China Day”, spring festival gala and various history, music, and sports groups.

Besides these activities, we also organize several large-scaled events, including our annual MIT-Chinese Innovation and Entrepreneur Forum, Mid-Autumn Harbor Cruise and our Chinese Spring Festival Gala. These events all attracted attendees from all over MIT and even all of the US.
