Summary of Progress to date:
Wow time fly’s and summer is coming to
a close. As we move into the month of
October we are preparing for the “Big Dig
phase”. We are preparing the site so we
can remove apx. 60,000cuyds. of soil from
the site so we can commence constructing
on the underground concrete parking
structure for the project.
Over the last month we made good
progress by completing the demo phase of
the project, we are near completion of the
parking lot improvements on the Andreini
site, and our excavation shoring beams
have been installed. In addition, we have
secured the site, set-up our jobsite office
and currently have our temporary power
up and operational.
Upcoming Events:
Starting this next week you will have some heavy drilling equipment arrive on-site to drill approximately 25
dewatering wells. The drilling and set-up of the dewatering system will take two weeks. Once the wells are dug we
will begin drawing down the water table so we can commence the mass excavation phase of the project. Once we have
the water table lowered and coordinated our underground infrastructure improvements we will be digging down
approximately 25’ in order to establish our foundation pad grade. We are working to start the Big Dig in October!!
We are also working with the owner, designer, city, and utility companies to finalize the wet utility design and have
good intentions to start installation of our underground wet utilities in October. We will be bringing in a new water
main that connects on 20th Ave. @ the West drive approach to the Andreini office and wraps all the way up and around
our project along the perimeter and loops back around and reconnects with 20th Ave via Elkhorn court. In addition we
have a new sewer main going in on Elkhorn court which will be servicing part of the project. We also have a new
sewer lateral to install emanating from 20th Street, through the West side of the Andreini parking lot and servicing the

West side of our site. We are working on finalizing our encroachment and traffic control plans for submittal to the city
as we will be required to work in the public right of way on Elkhorn Court and 20th Avenue to complete the
underground utility improvements. We will advise of specific traffic control plans and schedules once we have final
approvals on design and installation intentions.
We understand some neighbors have expressed some hardships as relates to our activities. We are listening and
empathetic. We know we can never operate to meet everyone’s needs but we would like to let everyone now we are
working with the owner and the City to try and minimize our presence and our impact. We will continue to try and
improve and do appreciate everyone’s collective patience and cooperation as we work to improve the neighborhood.
