This building will be aiming for the Build It Green certification.

Bayview Hill Gardens Affordable Housing
Formerly the Franciscan Motel, the 73-unit affordable apartment Complex, located at 6600 Third Street, will open September 2013 as the home for formerly homeless families referred by the City and County of San Francisco’s Human Services Agency with Mercy Housing, Inc. The Bayview Hunters Point Foundation will provide tenant services, Mercy Housing will be the Property Management and provide resident services, and Providence Foundation will provide youth services for the children of the families.
Providence Foundation is a co-general partner and community partner for Bayview Hill Gardens. Mercy Housing California (MHC), also a co-general partner, will be responsible for overseeing the development and property management for the housing project. The Bayview Hunters Point Foundation will provide resident services and case management. Michael Simmons Property Development (MSPDI) is the development and consulting firm for the project.
