Our current project available for subscription is Proper Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel located in downtown Los Angeles, California. The developer for this project is The Kor Group, a leading development firm most well-known for creating the Viceroy Hotels. If you follow the link to Kor’s newly launched website for Proper Hotel, you can view a brief video (about 1 minute long) that introduces the Proper Hotels brand. The Wall Street Journal recently published an article discussing the rising popularity of this type of luxury boutique hotel — also called “Lifestyle Hotels” — among the top developers and hotel operators in the real estate industry. In fact, the CEO and founder of Kor Group, Brad Korzen, is mentioned in the article as a veteran of the lifestyle hotel industry, and Proper Hotels is used as an example of the rising trend in boutique hotels.
