Mapped: The Bay Area’s biggest construction projects wrapping up in 2017

Billions of dollars worth of construction projects are underway in the Bay Area, and many of the largest and highest-profile are due to wrap up in 2017.

This year promises to deliver the most new office space to San Francisco in three decades, double what hit the market last year. The number of residential units finishing up in San Francisco in 2017 is lower than last year, but it’s still significant at over 3,000.

In our Commercial Real Estate Quarterly publication this week, we looked at the “Class of 2017,” the significant Bay Area real estate developments that will finish construction this year. Beyond housing and office, they includ e major retail, industrial, medical and transportation projects. Dive into our map above for a look at the projects landing in our region.
