Avison Young has expanded its Bay Area presence with a San Jose/Silicon Valley office. This is Avison Young’s 11th California office and 55th U.S. office. Avison Young’s new office is at 2880 Stevens Creek Blvd., Suite 200, in San Jose. The company also has Northern California offices in San Francisco, Sacramento, San Mateo and Oakland.

Managing personnel at the new office includ e Avison Young principal and Managing Director Gregg von Thaden, who will coordinate the company’s strategic direction; principals Brian Mason and Ryan Slater, who will lead the office’s capital markets practice and help Avison Young grow its Asian client services; Vice President, Research Northern California Jennifer Vaux; and Vice President, Marketing Jennifer Doherty. All five joined from Colliers International in San Jose.
