On March 4, the Cupertino City Council gave two long-awaited retail projects at Wolfe Road and Vallco Parkway a green light to proceed. At the Rose Bowl, Evershine’s plans include 204 residential units, and 120,000 sf of retail. At Cupertino Square, over 43,000 sf of new ground floor retail will wrap the J.C. Penney’s garage. Completed Plans for both projects are anticipated by end of the year.

As the executive-in-charge for Layton, Brian Hobbs facilitated the early preconstruction, buyout, site logistics and other planning activities and subsequently rolled into construction oversight of this 204 luxury condo project in Cupertino.  Early on there were many budget and schedule challenges that Brian creatively solved in collaboration with the construction manager, Nandy Kumar. Layton expects to complete the project in 2014.
