Homes in the city have some of the most commanding views in the San Francisco Bay Area. Many homes have views of as many as 12 Silicon Valley cities. Other homes have unobstructed views of the Rancho San Antonio Open Space district, and some properties have 300 degree views of both mountains and the city views. Los Altos Hills provides the greatest value in terms of acreage and amenities compared to Portola Valley, Woodside and Atherton. School Information

All of the schools in the Los Altos School District (K-8) score high on the Academic Performance Index (API). Los Altos Hills students attend either Los Altos-Mountain View Union High School or the higher scoring Gunn High School in Palo Alto. The well regarded Foothill Community College is located in Los Altos Hills and sends more students to UC Berkley and UCLA than any other community college in California.
