Service
HelloFresh offers meal-kits including ingredients sourced from local suppliers and step-by-step recipes created on a weekly basis by their in-house culinary teams. The company delivers over 7.2 million meals a month to over 500,000 regular subscribers across the world. All countries offer omnivore (Classic Box)[2] and vegetarian (Veggie Box)[3] box options. Other variations include a Family Box (for two adults and two children),and a Fruit Box option.[9][10]
Boxes are usually offered on a 3×2 (3 meals for 2 people) portion, with variations such as 3×4 (3 meals for 4 people) and 5×2 (5 meals for 2 people). The boxes are delivered weekly on a flexible subscription model.
Partnership
Late in 2015, Jamie Oliver, a British celebrity chef, and HelloFresh announced a partnership. Jamie Oliver creates recipes for HelloFresh. At the same time, HelloFresh donates money to the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation.
Dominik Richter is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at HelloFresh. In 2011, Richter, alongside co-founders Thomas Griesel and Jessica Nilsson, moved to Berlin to start a company together. After looking at different business models and industries, Richter said they quickly set their eyes on the grocery space.
