Sprinklr is a company that develops and markets a social software platform, also called Sprinklr, that provides social media marketing, social advertising, content management, collaboration, advocacy and social media monitoring for large enterprises.

Corporate history

Sprinklr was founded in 2009. Originally self-funded by CEO and founder Ragy Thomas, the company has raised more than $77.5 million in financing from Battery Ventures, Intel Capital, and Iconiq Capital.[2]

Sprinklr grew organically to more than 200 employees and hundreds of customers [3] before beginning to make acquisitions in 2014.

In March 2014, Sprinklr acquired Dachis Group[4] adding abilities for employee advocacy, competitive intelligence, social business consulting services, and content optimization. As part of the acquisition, Jeffrey Dachis, co-founder of the world’s largest digital agency Razorfish, joined Sprinklr as Chief Evangelist.

In August 2014, Sprinklr acquired TBG Digital [5] to augment its paid social advertising capability. TBG Digital was a pioneer in the social advertising space and at the time of acquisition oversaw more than $100 million in annual paid advertising for its clients.

In September 2014, Sprinklr acquired Branderati [6] adding a comprehensive advocacy suite to its capabilities.

As of late 2014, Sprinklr has more than 550 employees and 650 customers.[1]

As of late 2015, Sprinklr has 12 offices, located across North & South America, Europe and Asia.

Ragy Thomas is the Founder and CEO of Sprinklr, a Social Media Marketing Services Provider for large companies.

Sprinklr provides a SaaS technology platform and related services that helps companies connect with their social media audience. The platform (SIREn) allows marketers to manage conversations and campaigns across multiple social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook, while measuring reach, engagement and virality against ROI goals.

Prior to founding Sprinklr, Ragy was the president of Epsilon’s Interactive Services Group (formerly Epsilon Interactive) where he grew the company’s revenue 40% to 100MM dollars. The company provided email marketing technology and interactive agency services (including creative, strategy, acquisition, web development and search marketing) to over 500 blue chip clients including Walmart, Target, JP Morgan Chase, Citibank, Unilever and P&G . Its global client base was served by over 500 associates in 23 offices in 11 countries. Prior to being named as the president of Epsilon Interactive, Ragy was the CTO of Email Marketing Service Provider, Bigfoot Interactive, which was acquired by Alliance Data’s Epsilon division in September 2005 for over 120MM dollars.

As the CTO and chief architect of Bigfoot Interactive, Ragy led the company’s platform to three consecutive years of leadership in analyst (Forrester & Jupiter) reviews. In addition to building this world-class product, Ragy also established Epsilon Interactive’s ASP client service team and its self service infrastructure.

Ragy is an established thought leader in the eMarketing space, writing for industry publications like DMnews and speaking at industry forums, like the Direct Marketing Association and National Center for Database Marketing.
