外貿協會主辦之全球ICT產業年度盛會「台北國際電腦展」（COMPUTEX）將在明日(5月31日)盛大登場，一連展出5天，外貿協會今日舉辦COMPUTEX國際記者會，共有近300名國內外媒體共襄盛舉。今年COMPUTEX展共有來自30國、1,602家廠商使用5,009個攤位，以「建構全球科技生態系」的定位著重產業四大趨勢主題：物聯網技術應用、創新與新創、商業解決方案及電競，國內外指標參展商包含: ABB、Acer、ASUS、Audi、HTC、Intel、Mercedes-Benz、Microsoft、MSI、SAMSUNG及SIEMENS，預計掀起新一波全球科技業浪潮。

作為全球ICT產業的指標展覽，COMPUTEX與時俱進不斷自我革新，打破過去僅以硬體採購為主的印象，今年著重風靡全球的物聯網產業以及科技新創浪潮，打造廠商媒合、趨勢分析、經驗傳承、硬體採購的全方面產業平台；秉持「建構全球科技生態系」的目標，讓來自全世界參展商與買主能夠在展會上得到最完整的科技服務，也見證台灣身為「亞洲科技之心」的實力。2016年COMPUTEX的買主洽邀成果更是亮眼，至5月28日預登國外買主數為15,541人，較2015年成長3.8%，其中包含逾200家系統整合商、全球VC及募資平台。此外，今年參展國家數目有36%的成長、達到近5年來最高點，足以表現國際廠商對於COMPUTEX轉型定位的肯定與支持；首度參展廠商比例更達到23%、可期為本屆展會注入一股新活水。

科技趨勢四大主題 產業發展交流平台

今年COMPUTEX四大主軸為物聯網技術應用、創新與新創、商業解決方案及電競，不僅跟進科技最新趨勢，更著重於國際廠商間的交流與合作，外貿協會投入國內外資源，首度將台北世貿三館打造為「InnoVEX」(創新與新創展區)，並透過全球駐外單位廣邀逾百名知名VC、集資平台及新創加速器，透過展示、論壇、競賽、發表、媒合與交流整合來自22國、217個新創企業的創新點子與資源，位於世貿一館的「SmarTEX」(物聯網技術應用展區)亦有逾180家參展商參展，聚焦安全應用、智慧居家與娛樂、智慧穿戴、車用電子、3D商業、智慧科技解決方案、智慧製造等IoT重要應用，提供平台持續推動發展；另本屆COMPUTEX瞄準快速崛起的龐大市場，特闢商業解決方案展區與電競主題，指引科技廠商未來前進方向、創造產業新價值。

CPX與InnoVEX論壇聚焦趨勢 新創與大廠相互輝映

每年科技產業指標的CPX論壇，將於5月31日由行動處理器晶片架構領導品牌安謀(ARM)執行長Simon Segars揭開序幕，6月1日則由外貿協會邀請2015米蘭世博創意設計師及世界三大未來學家之一Mr. Vito di Bari出席今日COMPUTEX國際記者會，Mr. di Bari表示：「全球的物聯網競賽已然起跑，台灣具備良好的OEM與ODM基礎，這個優勢將能使台灣的資通訊產業在全球物聯網生態系中扮演相當重要的角色，COMPUTEX也將成為全球物聯網生態系重要展示平台。」接連兩天的論壇另有全球最大智慧手機晶片製造商高通(Qualcomm) 資深副總裁兼連接事業總經理Rahul Patel、瑞士工業機器人大廠ABB集團副總裁 Steve Wyatt、台灣西門子(Siemens Taiwan)總裁暨執行長Erdal Elver等科技巨擘一同加入，以「萬物互聯˙智慧創新-建構全球科技生態系」為題，瞄準物聯網與智慧製造趨勢，暢談科技新未來，帶領聽眾進入下一個科技世代。

今年首度成立的InnoVEX展區同時也有精彩的雙舞台論壇與演講，國際知名育成中心、投資公司與科技實驗室都將在Center Stage與Pi Stage上發表對於全球創業環境的觀察和分析，帶領新創團隊突破發展困境邁向成功。

科技雙雄Intel及Microsoft也將在展覽期間辦理論壇。微軟OEM裝置夥伴合作關係的全球副總裁Nick Parker、微軟Windows與裝置全球執行副總裁Terry Myerson以及微軟技術專暨HoloLens的發明人Alex Kipman、將在Microsoft Forum以「微軟賦予 Windows 裝置新世代體驗」展示Windows 10跨平台與雲端服務的整合系統；英特爾執行副總裁暨資料中心事業群總經理Diane M. Bryant與副總裁暨客戶運算事業群總經理Navin Shenoy則著重「創新視際，智勝未來」議題，於e21FORUM說明新一波雲端運算發展的技術與機會，同時西門子數位工廠事業部業務總監范永銀亦將以「正在發生的未來－數位化時代」為題，探討透過工業4.0，將產品及製造做虛實整合，製造出具智慧、智能的產品。

多元展會活動再革新 激盪產業新契機

2016台北國際電腦展與科技一同變革，除了協助台灣廠商擴展國際業務的採購洽談會，更新增一系列多元活動，於協助廠商成長的同時推動產業發展。包含鼓勵高質感設計的「台北國際電腦展創新設計獎(COMPUTEX d&i awards)」、提供新創團隊站上世界舞台的新產品發表會(Demo)、推動突破創新獎金高達3萬美金的新創競賽(Pitch)，以及首度與HWBOT合辦、以全球矚目直播平台Twitch推廣至全世界的「全球超頻巡迴賽World Tour 2016」；本屆COMPUTEX有別於往年靜態的展示，以多元的活動規劃促進交流，激盪出產業的全新發展。

COMPUTEX d&i awards 質感設計創新升級

邁入第九屆的「台北國際電腦展創新設計獎」(COMPUTEX d&i awards) 亦將於5月31日開幕典禮由蔡總統親自頒發5件金質獎及1件新創企業特別獎。本年度共有108家廠商共253件產品參賽，最後由46家廠商的87件產品脫穎而出。因應發展迅速的新創趨勢，本屆更特別設立「新創企業特別獎」(COMPUTEX d&i rising star award)，協助新創團隊與科技巨擘一同站上世界舞台，展現COMPUTEX推廣優異產品不遺餘力的精神。

4 New Technology Trends add Value to COMPUTEX –

Platform for Industrial Developments and Exchanges

The four main themes—IoT applications, innovations and startups, business solutions, and gaming— at COMPUTEX 2016 highly reflects the latest technology development and also emphasizes the international exchanges and cooperation among exhibitors. COMPUTEX has launched its first startup village—InnoVEX, at Hall 3 of Taipei World Trade Center, featuring exhibits, forums, pitch contests, demos, matchmaking, and after parties, putting together innovative ideas and resources brought by217 startups from 22 countries. TWTC Hall 1 will feature an exhibition zone for IoT technology and applications, called SmarTEX, which serves as a platform for continuous improvement for important IoT applications such as smart manufacturing, security, smart home and entertainment, smart technology, automotive electronics, 3D printing, and business solutions. In recognition of the great potential of fast growing markets, COMPUTEX also designed designated zones for business solutions and gaming to serve as guidance for tech companies to move forward in creating new business values.

COMPUTEX CPX Conference and InnoVEX Forums Focus on Tech Trends

The highly anticipated COMPUTEX CPX Conference will kick off on May 31 by Simon Segars, CEO of ARM, world leading chip processor, and on June 1, by Vito Di Bari, the Innovation Designer for Milan Expo 2015 and one of the three most influential futurists in the world. The CPX Conference will go on for 2 days (May 31-June 1) with line-up include Rahul Patel, Senior Vice President and General Manager of connectivity, Qualcomm; Steve Wyatt, Group Vice President of ABB Robotics; and Erdal Elver, President & CEO of Siemens Ltd. Taiwan. Topics are on “IoT & Smart Innovations in Building a Global Technology Ecosystem” with main focus on the trends of IoT and smart manufacturing. COMPUTEX audience can look to explore the next generation of technology at CPX Conference.

InnoVEX will also make its debut this year with two very exciting stages—Center Stage and Pi Stage—for forums and speeches. Internationally renowned incubators, investment companies, and technology labs will take to the stage to talk about their observations on the global environment for startups and provide analyses on how to lead startups to success and overcome any obstacles in the way.

Two of the biggest players in the technology industry, Intel and Microsoft, will also organize forums during COMPUTEX. Nick Parker, Corporate Vice President of OEM Division, Microsoft; Terry Myerson, Executive Vice President of Windows and Devices Group, Microsoft; and Alex Kipman, Technical Fellow and Inventor of Microsoft HoloLens will speak on the topic of “Enabling Modern Windows Devices & Experiences” and demonstrate the integrated system of cross-platform and cloud computing system of Windows 10 at Microsoft Forum. Diane M. Bryant, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Data Center Group, Intel and Navin Shenoy, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Client Computing Group, Intel will tie in with the theme, “Vision with Intelligence: Amazing New Era”, to elaborate on expanding the boundaries of computing at e21FORUM. Innovative Events to Create New Business Opportunities

COMPUTEX 2016 develops and changes with the latest technology. In addition to supporting Taiwanese suppliers with procurement matchmaking events to increase their business opportunities, COMPUTEX organizers also includes a series of diverse activities and events to develop businesses and the industry as a whole. COMPUTEX d&i awards – Products beyond imagination

As the COMPUTEX d&i awards enters its 9^th year, President of Taiwan, Ing Wen Tsai, will present the golden award winners personally at the opening ceremony on May 31^st. This year, a total of 253 entries were submitted by 108 tech companies and the awards go to 87 products from 46 tech companies. In response to the fast-growing startup trend, a special “COMPUTEX d&i rising star award” will also be presented by President Tsai. This award provides an opportunity for the startup to be side by side on the world stage with major industry players, fully demonstrates the spirit of COMPUTEX for always striving to promote the best products.
