Profile

Located in Conway, AR, Hendrix College is a small private liberal arts college affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The Hendrix Odyssey program ensures that every student gets to take part in hands-on learning experiences such as study abroad, service, internships and undergraduate research. The school offers 34 majors and 37 minors in the areas of humanities, natural sciences and social sciences along a master of arts degree program in accounting. Every fall, students at Hendrix enjoy a friendly residence hall rivalry in a dance competition known as “Shirttails” where they don a button-down shirt and shorts or boxers. Through the Hendrix-Murphy Foundation Programs in Literature and Language, students have the opportunity to learn from acclaimed writers, poets, critics, editors, and more. Hendrix competes in NCAA Division III, and the mascot is known as the Warriors.
