Ursinus College is a private liberal arts college in Collegeville, PA, approximately 27 miles from Philadelphia. Established in 1869, the college offers over 60 programs, including a variety of interdisciplinary fields of study such as museum studies and peace and social justice. The most popular majors are applied economics, biology, psychology, and communications. There are more than 100 student clubs and organizations ranging from theater to club sports, and student government to Greek life, which makes up 22% of the student body. Fighting for Ophelia, the largest student run organization on campus, is devoted to mentoring local high school and middle school students as well as improving the Ursinus community. The campus is home to the Philip and Muriel Berman Museum of Art, accredited by the American Association of Museums. The Ursinus College Bears field 25 varsity teams who compete in the NCAA Division III Centennial Conference.
