Profile

A leading business school, Bentley University is a private, co-ed university located 9 miles west of Boston, MA, that was founded in 1917. The university has 24 majors and 35 minors, giving students the opportunity to blend business and liberal arts and many double majors in both. Bentley is also mindful of its students’ needs outside of the classroom: In its Student Center, there is a Sacred Space where all are welcome for reflection, meditation or prayer. The university has 23 men’s and women’s varsity teams and competes at the NCAA Division II level except for its men’s hockey team, which competes in Division I. Bentley also offers various club sports, such as cheerleading, rugby, ultimate frisbee and sailing. Outside of sports, there are more than 100 organizations on campus, including theatrical groups, a radio and TV broadcasting station and fraternities and sororities.
