Profile

The University of Oklahoma is a vast public research university in suburban Norman, OK. OU offers 152 majors, and its business, engineering and pre-health programs get high marks state- and nation-wide. The Price College of Business’ Center for Entrepreneurship provides ambitious students with business counselling and takes students across the county as part of its Entrepreneurial Scholars program. Of its menu of study abroad experiences in 240 cities on six continents, students praise “OU in Arezzo,” a program based in a medieval town in Italy. The Oklahoma Sooners compete in the Big 12 of Division I and boast one of the most successful athletic programs in the nation. In the ’08-’09 school year, the Sooners became the second program in history to have a Heisman (Sam Bradord) and Wooden (Blake Griffin) winner in the same year.
